SENIOR OSTEOMYOLOGIST / SPINE & WELLNESS SPECIALIST / DOCFIT DOC
I hail from Dallas, Texas and I have moved to the UK along with my lovely English wife Dalia. I’m passionate about people’s health and wellbeing and strongly believe that the care we provide at the Spine & Wellness Centre allows them to fulfil their optimal health!
I’m registered with the Association of Osteomyologists and practice as an Osteomyologist in the United Kingdom; I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Parker University, College of Chiropractic and my Bachelors degree from the University of Texas, Arlington. My educational training ranges from Chiropractic, Spinal Corrective Care, Neurology, Orthopedics, Physical and Functional Medicine, Physical Rehabilitation, Physio-modalities, Nutrition, Sports Injury recovery and overall Wellness and by relying on these multiple disciplines I am a dedicated Osteomyologist. Osteomyology puts aside the usual tunnel vision of rigidly trained philosophies and allows the doctor/practitioner to switch seamlessly from one bodywork protocol to another even combining some methods together, this way the doctor/practitioner is never defeated as his/her armoury is limitless and hence focussing on providing better patient care. My clinical focus and passion revolves around Posture, Spinal Corrective Care. Counselling/Coaching and overall Wellness. I have also spent over three years of my professional career working with the American Heart Association helping to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Aside from being at the practice and spending time with my wife Dalia and our beautiful boy Adam, I am addicted to physical fitness, nutrition and total body wellness. My believe is that the body will not reach it’s full potential with out a clean diet, a clear mind and regular fitness training. You are always welcome to join me for a training session but be careful as we have been knows to start as early as 6am, what a great way to start the day.
I am always looking forward to sharing my “Good Ole Southern Hospitality” with our community and all of our Spine & Wellness Centre patients ensuring that they receive the best care possible!

HEALTH & WELLNESS COACH
I constantly strive to achieve balance and wellbeing in all areas of my life. It’s a challenge and that’s just what makes me tick.
As part of my development I have completed a Plant Based Nutrition Certification through Cornell University. I have qualified as a health coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and am trained with The Coaching Academy as a life and personal performance coach.
Healthy living and a sense of wellbeing had always been important to me but until more recent years I’d never really appreciated what that actually meant. It is all too easy to ‘fool’ yourself into thinking you are doing the right thing by opting for the wholemeal bread (but then proceeding to fill it with bacon and cheese). I needed to look deeper.
Back in 2011, as my mindset explored a new direction, I began writing a blog which has evolved into so much more than I could ever have imagined; an all encompassing lifestyle and career. Including Cake: a wholefood recipe blog and health coaching hub focuses on ‘real foods’ to optimise wellness. The ‘Including Cake’ philosophy is based on a growing realisation of the importance of plant based whole foods, along with the desire to enjoy what we eat and not feel as though we are depriving ourselves. My website now serves as a vast resource of healthy recipes suitable for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions and intolerances.
I have also launched ‘Wholeplus’ – my own range of wholefood treats that embody this ethos. Over the course of time, I realised I wanted to reach out to others beyond the confines of my computer screen, and empower people with the knowledge and personal awareness of the increasingly strong links between both physical and mental wellness and good nutrition. I give talks and presentations to corporate clients and groups and am always happy to discuss nutritional philosophies with all!
When I’m not studying, recipe testing, eating or blogging, I enjoy an intense workout at the gym or the chance to indulge in photography. My keen eye for creativity and thinking ‘beyond’ the boundaries is never far away.
Come and hang out with me here!
LEVEL 3 PERSONAL TRAINER
My passion for fitness started at the age of 9 when joining the local athletics club I still compete for today. After Qualifying as a Personal trainer in 2011 I was finally able to deliver everything I had learnt and was passionate about to my clients.
With anything I am passionate about, I always want to know more. Since 2011 further study has led me to become a qualified aqua aerobics and Spin class instructor. Training is a way of life and I hope everyone can introduce it into their lives whether for sport, fitness or to achieve a better quality of life.
When I am not training others I am training myself in the gym and at the athletics track in Sandy. My main events are high jump, hurdles and sprints. Out of training I enjoy walking my dog Oscar and for my more adventurous side I love to do car experience days or other challenge days out.
My initial fascination with holistic therapies started in my teens when I was diagnosed with digestive problems and my parents took me along to a Reflexologist to see if this more complimentary route would work. I am pleased to say that it did and, because of the success of the treatments, this started my interest with holistic/complimentary medicine.
I became a qualified professional in holistic therapies having studied at the respected Phillip Salmon School of Reflexology and the Omnipresence School of Energy and over the years added many new therapies to my range including Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Hopi-Ear Candles, and I am a Reiki Master.
In 2008 I also studied and became a Yoga teacher in Kundalini Yoga, which was an amazing achievement for me as I have scoliosis of the spine. I found that this particular form of yoga has strengthened my whole body, taking away the back aches and pains that scoliosis created and I have been teaching adults and children ever since.
Kundalini Yoga is such a big part of my life now and I love to travel and continually develop this area, meeting new and inspirational people.
Due to the experiences in my life, with my health, wellbeing and emotional and mental trauma that the loss of my parents brought at a young age, being able to help others in similar situations I find truly rewarding.
I am married and have three wonderful children, varying in age from nine to seventeen years of age. Family life is busy and hectic, just like so many other families, but the thing I love is that I can get up in the morning and look forward to my day ahead and the work that I do.
